Edinburgh is one of my favourite cities. My father and his family originate from Scotland so it feels very much like a second home to me. I particularly love how the vibrant city is framed by the mountains. On my most recent trip, I visited the Chapel of St Albert the Great by Simpson & Brown Architects – most definitely a sanctuary within the city. Of course, no visit is complete without admiring Edinburgh's classical buildings. This was my view from Princes Street, the Scott Monument.
