Barbara Hepworth is one of my favourite sculptors so, during a trip to York, I visited the Hepworth Wakefield Gallery, designed by David Chipperfield.
I have a love for brutalist architecture – my favourite view was inside the gallery looking back across the river.
The juxtaposition of the flowing river and severe concrete form is completely arresting.
